So you think you know about
Scottish Fitba’. By the way lets be under no illusions the word is Fitba’
not Footy that is for inferior web sites in other parts of Britain. There are
some very good sites dedicated to questions about the quality game, but there is a real spar city of sites extolling the virtues
of Scottish Fitba’. Jim Mckenzie and Ronnie Wilkes thought they would rectify
this now. I can exclusively reveal that I am the ugly one. We hope you will enjoy tackling these questions and feel free to send in some of your own. I think it would be fair to point out that we reckon this Site is a thinking fans web site. We know that some of the questions will take a certain amount of research, whether that be courtesy of
the little grey cells or reference to the Wee Red Book or delving in to the World Wide Web.
Keep a pen and paper, Dictaphone or Perkins brailer handy and give yourself time to peruse the more problematic ones. The best and most constructive comments about the site will win an all expenses trip
to Firs Park home of East Stirlingshire. When you encounter a question where
you are asked to name a Team or Squad try to include a goal Keeper, Defenders, Midfielders and Forwards where possible. Good luck everybody, get tore in.
For
those of you who think the main Quiz has too many questions that are too difficult or too
laborious to look up. The reason for you thinking this could be if your
expertise is about one Club or your knowledge about Scottish Football is limited, especially if your name is Chick Young,
David Taylor or your Bahyookie is stuck to your couch watching Satellite Television.

We have decided that you have all been working too hard on the minutia of Scottish Football. You deserve a bit of light entertainment, so how about the Top Twenty unusual/entertaining
names of Footballers all over the World. I am glad to say we think that Scotland
or Scottish Based Players have a good representation. This is a feature that
you can feel free to add your own favourites, they don’t all have to have sexual or body part references. No honestly they don’t have to include Dean Windass, John Bumstead, Harry Fuch and Stefan Kuntz. Although we do get some mileage from these names which have a high titter factor. Don’t go looking for a Mr T Factor, I don’t think he exists.
Good Pubs near to a football Ground
We know there are plenty Pubs close to many a Scottish football Ground but that does not mean to say that any
of them are any good. Come on lets face it, the last thing you need is jostling
your way through a sweaty, voluble and opinionated crowd for twenty minutes only to be greeted by a pint of rank chemical
laden Beer. I know in the case of quality imbibing habits these matters can be
subjective but after all it is our web Site and we want to compile a list of decent Pubs near to a Football Ground. Because I attend a lot of Junior Games these days, it won’t only be Senior Grounds that are included
in this home made guide. Please feel free to add your own suggestions, because
I am sure some of you will be more attuned to the Pub scene in certain areas of Scotland,
than our good selves. It is worth sending your suggestions in, with particular
emphasis on Quality of Beer, Food, Friendly Bar Staff, Decor, Atmosphere and if you must even top class toilets could merit
a mention. We look forward to hearing your suggestions and even indulging in
